What You Will Do:
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing bespoke product designs for aircraft cabin interior components. Youll collaborate with Program Management, customers, internal departments, and suppliers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
Creating 2D and 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks
Managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Preparing test solutions and supporting qualification testing documentation
Designing across multiple disciplines, including moulding, sheet metal, machining, cables, PCB assemblies, etc.
3D printing prototyping and development, prototype hands on build
Revising documentation based on feedback from peers, customers, and certification authorities
Conducting drawing and documentation checks
Reviewing technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
Attending internal/external meetings and participating in offsite travel as required (minimal)

Comfort navigating a dynamic engineering office environment
Solid communication skills, with the confidence to contribute across all levels of the business
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
High-level expertise in SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Qualifications You Must Have:
Degree, HNC, or HND in a relevant engineering discipline
Product Design experience in an engineering environment
