This Position reports to:

R&D Engineer

The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the worlds leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The Measurement & Analytics Divisions portfolio consists of analyzers measuring compositions of gases and liquids; instrumentation measuring process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions measuring parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; and advanced digital solutions for device management, device health check and predictive maintenance. The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing before and after values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.

Key Responsibilities

Design instruments in compliance with requirements, costs, and timelines

Select and optimize manufacturing processes (CNC machining, molding, bending, 3D printing, and others)

Review and seal drawings in accordance with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards

Thoroughly document mechanical design, establish tolerance budgets and inspection plans

Supervise assembly, commissioning, and create test plans for prototypes

Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and deliver high-level presentations to clients at critical milestones

Actively contribute to planning tasks and technical proposals (estimations)

Occasionally support production

What it takes to Run what runs the world

Mechanical engineering degree with 510 years of experience in complex systems; optics, FEA, and harsh environments are assets.

Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, heat and surface treatments.

Proficient in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, with familiarity in technical standards (ASME, ATEX).

A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement

Member of the OIQ and fully bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in high-demand technical environments.

French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
