CAD Drafter
St. Paul, MN | Contract to Hire | $22-$26/hour
Konik is partnered with a growing and innovative client in Saint Paul seeking to add an entry-level CAD Drafter to their team. In this role, you will create various drawings for installations, prototypes, packaging, and similar work supporting a diverse set of business units. The CAD Drafter will work with manufacturing personnel to resolve drafting-related issues and participate in new product development projects. Our client is a leader in their industry with a host of capabilities and locations across the country. CAD Drafter Responsibilities:
Use drafting and design tools to detail and design large and small installations
Process engineering change requests (ECR) as required.
Verify dimensional integrity of part details, materials to be used, the relation of one part to another, and the relation of various parts to the whole structure or project.
Draw finished designs from sketches, assemblies, and detailed drawings for special sales orders or changes to standard products.
CAD Drafter Qualifications:
Associates or Certificate in Drafting; 1+ year or relevant experience, new grads considered
Training and/or experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs
Background in architecture, graphics, or mechanical design is beneficial
