CAD Technician / Draftsperson

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician / Draftsperson to join a growing team in the manufacturing and design sector. This role involves preparing detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans used for fabrication, construction, and assembly. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, an eye for precision, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Create 2D and 3D CAD drawings for parts, assemblies, and layouts Interpret sketches, specifications, and engineering notes to generate technical drawings Revise existing drawings and prepare documentation for design changes Ensure that all drawings comply with industry and company standards Coordinate with engineers, production teams, and project managers to ensure design accuracy Maintain CAD libraries and organized filing of drawings and associated documents Qualifications: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required, 3D a plus); other CAD software experience is a bonus 2+ years of experience in a drafting or CAD technician role Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documents Experience with sheet metal, structural components, or manufacturing drawings is preferred Solid communication and collaboration skills Additional Information: Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environment is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Potential for long-term opportunity based on performance
