Seeking a Senior Design Engineer with expertise in hydraulic systems for engineering projects and product development. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience with NX Design
5 years of experience in construction, mining, or off-highway equipment
Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics
Experience in selection of hydraulic system components
Preferred Skills: Hydraulic hose and tube routing experience
Understanding of UG NX and SolidEdge CAD software
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Infor XA
Knowledge of heavy equipment hydraulic systems
Responsibilities: Design hydraulic systems and develop new products or expand current product lines
Review design instructions from Project Engineering Manager and conduct necessary studies
Create or modify hydraulic system schematics for projects
Select hydraulic system components ensuring they meet industry standards globally
Calculate requirements for hydraulic system components and prepare layouts/details
Participate in design reviews, manage design costs, manufacturability, and document project evaluations
Maintain communication with Purchasing regarding component specifications, quality, cost, and availability
