Job Description: Process Development Engineer
The Process Development Engineer I is responsible for leading a functional project engineering group within the department, consisting of multiple engineering disciplines. This role involves the design, development, documentation, and validation of new customer products, as well as the modification of existing products. Key activities include defining requirements, timelines, and deliverables with a focus on prototypes, process development, design verification, clinical builds, training production, and preparation for process validation and manufacturing transfer of products.
Responsibilities
- Lead a functional project engineering group consisting of multiple engineering disciplines.
- Design, develop, document, and validate new customer products.
- Modify existing products and define requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Focus on prototypes, process development, design verification, clinical builds, training production, and preparation for process validation and manufacturing transfer.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field required.
- 5-10 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Experience with mechanical, tool design, and manufacturing processes preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, including the MS Office suite and MS Project.
- Ability to fully interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and illustrations.
- Strong analytical skills to obtain, evaluate, and apply secondary research information.
- Ability to learn and apply new technology.
- Technical report preparation and good small group presentation skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
