Senior Process Engineer / Form Factory 1, LLC
Role Description
Design, implement, and control all manufacturing processes and material flows required for a
world-class production warehousing operation. As a member of our Production Warehousing
team, work on the ground up build of all physical and systematic manufacturing operational
flows in collaboration with Operations, IT, and Quality teams. Duties include:
Design end-to-end manufacturing and production warehousing material flows, from receiving to lineside delivery; support and improve material flow designs with ramp up in manufacturing;
Implement, maintain, and continuously optimize warehouse management system to drive efficiency;
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including IT, Operations, Finance, and Supply
Chain teams, to improve supply chain bottlenecks for production and make
recommendations to improve inventory and supply chain strategy;
- Write SOPs and train associates on all manufacturing and warehouse processes; collect
and analyze data; perform time studies to set labor standards; optimize slotting and layout
to drive operational excellence;
Provide report of data and actions to measure progress against objectives; and
Identify manufacturing automation opportunities in warehousing and lineside delivery,
and implement them in conjunction with other stake holders.
Position Requirements:
A Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,
Supply Chain Engineering, Engineering Management, or a closely related technical field
followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a manufacturing engineering- or
warehouse distribution-related occupation.
In the alternative, the employer would accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Engineering
Management, or a closely related technical field followed by 5 years of post-baccalaureate
experience in a manufacturing engineering- or warehouse distribution-related occupation.
Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:
1) 3 years of experience with warehouse engineering functions, including solution design, to
optimize material travel path and improve storage strategies;
2) 3 years of experience with Tier 1 WMS, including Oracle, Blue yonder, Manhattan Scale,
or similar systems' implementation and stabilization;
3) 3 years of experience with time study analysis, costing, and setting labor standards;
4) 2 years of experience with design software, including AutoCAD or SolidWorks;
5) 2 years of experience guiding multiple high deliverable projects concurrently;
6) 2 years of experience building dashboards to provide insights to executive leadership;
7) 2 years of experience leveraging slotting tools, including Optislot or Slot3D;
8) 2 years of experience with TMS systems, including Proship or Oracle TMS.
