Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-motivated attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Urbana, OH

Pay Range: $36/hr plus benefits

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret part drawings and aviation-related specifications.
• Create and understand manufacturing work instructions.
• Identify failure modes and determine Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA).
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers and customers.
• Identify opportunities for tooling and fixture design improvements.

What's Needed?

• Experience with part and assembly drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Projects, Visio, and Outlook.
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and feature checking gauges.
• Experience with SAP ERP system is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is preferred along with capital equipment projects.
