CAD Designer Drafter

Our client, a leader in Engineering Technologies, is seeking a CAD Designer Drafter to join their team. As a CAD Designer Drafter, you will be part of the Design Engineering Team supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and a passion for design, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CAD Designer Drafter

Location: Woburn, MA

What's the Job?

• Perform mechanical layout and design tasks for moderately complex integrated microwave assemblies.
• Design sub-system products from a mechanical perspective.
• Draw and revise detailed part and assembly drawings using CAD tools such as AutoDesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Generate mechanical layouts and new drawings with input from Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
• Act as a liaison between Responsible Engineer and Mechanical Engineer for design layout.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED; AA or AS preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in electro-mechanical design.
• Minimum of two years of experience with AutoDesk Inventor or higher.
• Must be a US Person under US export laws or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
• Strong team orientation.
