This person will function as a technical support contact for all sales related activity as well as a resource for manufacturing and machine shop functions. There will be direct interaction with customers, manufacturer's representatives and sales personnel for the purpose of determining the design/application requirements of products.
Other duties will include:
Development of sales quotations through completion of a job information form
Identifying and obtaining quotes from vendors on necessary components
Providing a cost estimate detailing quantities, material costs, direct labor, final sales pricing and estimated delivery as well as providing drawings as requested
Establish production drawings, component drawings, purchase specifications and bill of materials for new products
Perform engineering change notices for changes requested by customers or required to improve production quality
Qualified candidates will have a degree in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in a similar sales support position is a plus. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft office suite, and database management. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required. Candidate must be able to obtain security clearance.
