Primary goals will be to drive continuous improvement in process capability, product manufacturing and quality while reducing overall costs. Custom Steel Fabricattion Co. is looking for Manufacturing/ Process Engineer. **Experience in Stainless Fabrication required** Develops manufacturing processes utilized in estimating costs for machining, fabricating, welding and assembly. Accountability for estimating, build process and profitability of jobs within targeted profit margins. Provides optimum cooperation and complete information to Supervisor, sales and other personnel, relative to projects within his/her assigned group, to ensure on-time and accurate job costing and completion. Recommends and implements new methods and procedures to improve efficiency as apparent or required. Works from drawings, sketches, specifications and instructions from project managers and sales to determine operational sequence, tooling and material requirements. Identifies job flow problems and causes, and recommends corrective action to ensure timely and efficient production effort. Utilizes internal/external resources to develop the most economical/competitive method of manufacturing. Submits quotes in a timely manner, consistent with times set forth from customer requirements. Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
