' US Citizenship, permanent resident status, or designated asylum status. ' Ability to travel when necessary. Preferred qualifications for this position include: ' Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering ' Experience with MSC (Nastran, Patran), ANSYS or similar toolset for linear and non-linear models for static, quasi-static and transient stress analysis, and modal analysis. ' Use of the Mark non-linear solver for body-to-body contact. ' Familiarity with mechanical actuation components including structures, motors, bearings, gear trains, and complex mechanical components.
