The company is the world’s leading supplier of solid rocket motors, a leading provider of space systems, and the nation’s largest manufacturer of ammunition.Description-Maintain stable production processes and product quality, new process development, process optimization, continuous improvement, data collection/analysis, materials selection, equipment/facilities selection and implementation/maintenance. -Provide CATIA V5 support in the form of digital product definition management, data interpretation, generation of derivative data sets, and application of specialized CATIA V5 IUAs used within the composites industry. -Provide numerical machine control programming for specialized equipment.   -Participate in tooling design, fact finding, failure investigations, procedure preparation/review, support of maintenance personnel, and general status monitoring of multiple tasks and programs. -Activities will  include tool preparation, hand lay-up, fiber-placement, prepreg cutting, vacuum bagging, composite surface preparation, bonding, curing, autoclaving and the like. - Interface with all levels and departments of plant as well as operators, supervision, and maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks.  Requirements- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Materials or similar engineering discipline -2 or more years experience actively using CATIA V5 for creations of models and/or assemblies. Candidate wil be required to demonstrate CATIA V5 skills. -Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite-Experience in a composite maunfacturing environment dealing with fiber-placement, and/or hand lay-up proccesses is highly desirable. -Strong organizational skills,  -Proficient with Microsoft Office PC applications, possess -Good interpersonal skills  -Demonstrated capability for independent work and creativity. -Hands-on mechanical aptitude. -Combination of the following technical skills: Composites Design and Manufacturing; Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; CATIA V5 Fundamentals; CATIA V5 Surface Design; CATIA V5 Advanced Modeling; CATIA V5 NC Manufacturing; FiberSIM V5; ACE/AcraPlace V2 Desired-Excellent verbal and written skills-Training/experience in the following is beneficial:                Lean/Six Sigma                CATIA V5                FiberSIM V5                ACE V2  ATK is on the move.
