Company opened its doors in 1954, products are successfully marketed globally, and it is a manufacturer of medical-related consumer products that are AWARD-winning. Company provides you with many stimulating challenges as you work with bright, highly motivated and fun individuals who clearly enjoy what they do.  Your accomplishments and successes with the company will follow your great future here and everywhere.  They make the best; they hire the best! RESPONSIBILITIESIn your position, you will be part of a very specialized engineering team (comprised of mechanical, electro-mechanical and chemical) to participate, contribute and be open or accept ideas/concepts from R&D to materialize an actual manufacturing operation.  R&D will rely upon your team for your judgments in machine design, troubleshooting and testing for manufacturability.  You will troubleshoot and establish processes for chemical testing in a high-volume and great-performing manufacturing facility in Mexico. Collaborate on machine design, build-processes, and testing to ensure product enters manufacturing without too much difficulty.  You will run teststo ensure that manufacturing start-up is smooth.  66% of the machines are designed and built in-house; many, many now run in a high-volume and great performing manufacturing facility in Mexico.  You and your team will decide how to translate prototyping processes from R&D and duplicate similar processes at the Mexico manufacturing plant.  You and your team will resolve all issues. QUALIFICATIONS MUST POSSESSBS Chemical Engineering degree from a reputable US university known to specialize in the Engineering Field4-6 years in Chemical Engineering in a Manufacturing environmentManufacturing Environment background from Medical Device, ophthalmic lens, Pharmaceutical or consumer-based products.  Semiconductor, a plus too.  Solid experience in process-building, trouble-shooting and implementation within a high-volume and already tested within a high-performing Manufacturing environmentExpertise in running tests to ensure a smooth manufacturing start-upStrong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to travel to the Mexico manufacturing plant as need arises DESIRABLESA personality that is a go-getter and looking to advance pretty quicklySix-Sigma; Statistical AnalysisProficiency is MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent communication skills Spanish may give great advantage ESPECIALLY when at the Mexico plantSuccesses, track record and factual data in past experiences - to bring to interviewExcellent references PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: q       Repetitive fine manipulation and graspingq       Ability to perform procedures as required ensuring safe and efficient processesq       Ability to lift up to 25 poundsq       Sufficient auditory and verbal skills to assume required responsibilitiesq       Sufficient ability to enter and be present in all administration and production areas of the building  Attractive Compensation Package!Starting Salary Range: $65 -75K depending on experience Bonus Program – The Best there is!Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Paid Vacation and Sick Time401kExempt Position RELOCATION:  Will be Considered.
