IBA Industrial offers a unique range of E-beam and X-Ray equipment and customized irradiation solutions aimed at many different applications; such as medical devices, sterilization, polymer enhancement (cross-linking & degradation) or food pasteurization.We have a challenging opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team in Edgewood, Long Island. Manufacturing & Engineering Manager – Long Island – NYManage a small but very diversified team in order to produce and industrialize IBA high technological products.Responsibilities:· Manage the local production of IBA systems and/or parts (manufacturing, assembly and testing) reaching performances, lead time and budget objectives, cost reduction, delivery times, in accordance with GMP and internal guidelines,· Design and/or industrialize products/systems, subsystems, parts, along the full lifecycle development (processes, procedures or specifications) on the basis of project and customer specifications,· Coordinate Customer Service Operations in US for IBA INDUSTRIAL Business Unit,· Manage related teams (warehouse, production, engineering teams, procurement, sourcing and CS) for the satisfaction of the internal (project manager, Customer service) and external customers.· First local contact for the Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering and Customer Service employees who will require technical training and methods and to their mentors located in the US, Belgium or in China,· Plan for adequate human resources to meet project delivery and installation deadlines.· Control manufacturing costs and meet or improve projects budgeted costs.
