Job Title: Industrial Engineer II Company: Bucyrus International, Inc. Location: Pearisburg, VA Description: Position Objective: Sustain and improve methods and system solutions to produce a product in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Examine process flow and propose improvements to streamline production, improve turnaround, and reduce cost. Route product engineering releases with estimated labor hours for cost analysis and efficient flow through the manufacturing facility. Analyze post mortem project review and routings and correct where required. Enter and maintain data integrity within the system. Job Functions: 1. Create and maintain materials and routings within SAP. 2. Implement all engineering changes and issuances relating to material creation, costing, IHPT, and routings. 3. Check and review completeness of BOM before delivery to the planning department. 4. Setup and configure all production non-relevant parts and communicate to plant buyer. 5. One year of SAP experience and working knowledge of Pro-E is preferred. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings is required. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and an understanding of routing sequences and times are required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to work well with all levels of personnel, from management to shop floor, is required. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and Notepad is required.
