This position requires excellent knowledge of warehouse management systems and operations. This person must be able to develop and refine warehouse processes as it relates to its WMS that will assist in its goal of achieving best in class status to provide superior service to the stores it services. Principle Accountabilities: Identify, analyze, and resolve all warehouse management system and process issues. Conduct root cause analysis on all related issues, document issues and recommendations for improvement. Perform and maintain the slotting of items within the warehouse. Participate as a liaison between the IT and warehouse management teams to further enhance the WMS.Work with vendors and buyers to allow for more accurate and timely receiving. Drive accuracy and awareness by training managers and associates on the warehouse management system as well as warehouse procedures. Diagnose, troubleshoot, understand and maintain and diagnose problems that associates and management experience with various hardware and software as it relates to WMS.Person will be required to help achieve picking and put away efficiency by properly slotting product for order selection. This function will have a direct result on the operating expenses of the facility. Person will provide and revise training materials as it relates to the WMS and assist in the training of associates and management.
