Responsible for Industrial Design, you will work with Marketing, Engineering,Purchasing,and Manufacturing to achieve new products designs and concepts. You will also participate in and help drive the new product development process,and ensure that there is a high level of design aesthetic throughout the various product lines and proposed new products. The successful applicant will possess a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Design, with 5+years of related experience preferred. Additionally, you must have excellent hand sketching ability; a desire to work with prototyping and manufacturing processes; be familiar with new product development processes;be fluent in Industrial Design surfacing software (Alias or other); have a working knowledge of a variety of raw materials, including plastics, aluminum and stainless steel; and have good interpersonal and project management skills and be able to deal effectively with other departments and with outside vendors.
