Job Title: Facility Layout Designer (Industrial) Company: Location: Chicago, IL Description: Job Description: - General layouts and arrangement of equipment within various industrial plants. - 2D and 3D Modeling in AutoCAD and Microstation - Develop Mechanical layout drawings based on existing conditions. - Field survey of existing equipment. - Correspondence with clients and outside personnel. Qualifications: - CAD/Drafting/Design or Technology Degree, no Engineering graduates. - Experience with equipment layout within in facilities, preferably industrial. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microstation. - Experience in a fast-paced consulting environment with strong attention to customer service and quick turnaround. - Experience making field measurements and reading blueprints. - Ability to work on a multidisciplinary team of engineers under tight deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Project management experience is a plus. - Strong oral and written communications skills.
