Ability to read assembly blueprints and schematics. Follows assembly procedures (MAPs) and test procedures (ATPs and QCPs). Ability to set up and operate test equipment per procedures. Assist assemblers with testing procedures. Establishes priorities and allocates resources as necessary to meet on time delivery of production, warranty, and units sent in for repair. Maintain safe shop practices and procedures Assist in assembly, troubleshooting, and repair of various pieces of custom made test equipment. Assist engineering in testing, troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of prototype boards and units. Maintains positive working relationships with other departments Troubleshoots problems as they occur Trains personnel as necessary Participates in DFM design reviews Participates and generates cost savings and continuous improvement activities   Required Skills ESSENTIAL SKILLS:   Soldering SMD and through hole to JSTD-001 Perform repairs to IPC standards Operation of various pieces of test equipment Reading schematics Can look beyond the obvious when troubleshooting   DESIRED SKILLS: Training in LEAN Manufacturing Experience in single piece flow manufacturing Required Experience EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:    A.A.S. degree in electronics or an appropriate technical curriculum.
