Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Company: Midcon Cables Co Location: Joplin, MO Description: Quality Assurance Engineer Midcon Cables Company, a leading provider of cabling and wire interconnect solutions for the aerospace industry has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer. Midcon incorporates new methods and technologies such as its patented Everflex (R) Wire management system to provide value added solutions for interconnect applications. Candidates will need to be result oriented, aggressive and have a minimum of five years experience in Quality Engineering, preferably with cable harness assemblies, or a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related fields. With ISO 9001 / AS9100 or related Management System Standard background, be able to read and understand customer data package and comply with quality requirements. Prefer experience or training, including but not limited to: working in a lean manufacturing environment, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, statistical analysis, 5S or 6S, FEMA and control panels, QMS audit, and IPC 620 Industry Standard or ANSI-J-STD-001. Interface between Customer and Customer Quality Representative is significant portion of position. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and related software and possess excellent written and organizational skills. Be able to work in a self-directed work team environment.
