TITLE: Product Support Engineer LOCATION: Colorado Springs, CO TYPE: Contract-1 Year ? Possible extensions RATE: $25.00 Per Hour W2 based JOB DESCRIPTION: Product Support Engineer: The Product Engineer position serves as the engineering interface between design, assembly, manufacturing and the customers of Specialty Seating Products. Duties: ? Provide technical support for assembly operations, manufacturing operations and external customers. ? Work closely with design engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality to facilitate the movement of aircraft seating products through production. ? Interface with marketing and program management to ensure customer satisfaction. ? Champion cost saving ideas for existing products by implementing design and process improvement. ? Facilitate and manage design projects on existing programs per customer specification ? Develop and maintain critical procedures, guidelines, and work instructions for development and certified products ? Adheres to all Clients rules and codes of conduct. ? Performs other duties as required. Qualifications and Requirements: ? A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent. ? 2 to 5 years related experience. ? Excellent problem solving skills ? Proficient oral and written communication skills. ? Ability to multi-task and work in a high pace environment. Preferred Skills: ? 3d CAD experience or training. ? Experience in an aerospace engineering design and manufacturing environment. ? Knowledge of commercial and military specifications ? Experience working with military and or commercial aerospace personnel and subcontractors ?
