NATURE AND SCOPE: The Sustaining Engineer ? Lead position reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for manufacturing design support. Day to day activities require minimal hands-on supervision. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the sustaining team to provide engineering support to increase productivity and profitability of the factory by designing highly engineered products and documentation to build products that meet our safety, quality, delivery and cost targets. This position requires the working knowledge of the plant which may include assembly, paint, metal fabrication/machining and/or spinning/polishing.
