ER14 - Quality Engineer Job Summary:Support the organization in achieving a quality program, which assures all internal and external requirements are met in conjunction with the Quality Policy.Major Responsibilities:Provide support to ensure continuous compliance of company procedures with customer and statutory requirements through process improvement activities and contract review activities.Manage internal audit process to ensure continued compliance with the Quality System.Conduct activities with certifying authorities to maintain Quality System certification.Coordinate with suppliers to resolve non-conforming material and other quality-related issues.Provide assistance and guidance for design submittal activities, data book preparation and product certification issues.Research, resolve and provide support to customers for quality assurance/certification issues.Provide support to design engineering, manufacturing, quality control, purchasing, manufacturing, engineering and planning related to design control, process control and fabrication records.Direct the work of Quality Assurance support personnel as required.Qualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent, with 8+ years experience.Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
