Ensures compliance to all quality system requirements through a thorough knowledge of documented requirements. Process auditing. Independently conducts process audits to ensure processes are following manufacturing planning, program requirements and enterprise level command media. Actively participates in the Material Review Board, including: Segregates and controls nonconforming hardware to preclude inadvertent processing; Dispositions nonconforming hardware; Prepares and conducts board meetings and implements disposition decisions.Drives Corrective and Preventive Action to ensure continual improvement, including investigating and determining root causes of problems and developing and implementing corrective and preventative actions.  Manages other projects as assigned. Provides imaginative, thorough and practical solutions to a wide range of technical problems through the application of quality engineering disciplines and tools.Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline or physical science and at least 2 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).Requires technical knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes as well as technical knowledge of quality engineering tools and quality systems.  Prefer experience in aerospace industry on Solid Rocket Motor or Liquid Rocket Engine programs. ASQ certifications are a plus.
