Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager, EVS Company: Goodrich Location: West Hartford, CT Description: The West Hartford location has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager for our Electronics Value Stream. Duties include but are not limited to the following:Lead team of Mfg Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Product Support Engineers and Technicians. Manage the troubleshooting and failure analysis of Circuit Card assemblies and end products (Engine Control Units). Knowledge of Microprocessor based computer systems and a solid understanding of schematics and analog signal processing systems is required. Provide support to production/manufacturing to solve process problems that develop, continuously improve the existing process to remove waste, mistake proof and optimize the process. Provide requests to in-service engineering for technical issues, suggested improvements that could result in a product cost or yield improvement.Support validation requests from in-service engineering for product improvement. Provide direct input to the development design process from lessons learned in production and to meet design to cost targets. Work with Product Engineering and Supply Chain to providing aggressive but realistic recurring production product cost estimates to business development in support of proposals and other pricing activity. Work with part manufacturers and the components engineers to complete part level investigations in a timely manner. Identify areas of group process and implement changes to make tangible improvements. Ensure trouble shooting and manufacturing processes are adhered to by the group and that the procedures are continuously improved to capture lessons learned from turnbacks.

Job Title: LEAN MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING MANAGER Company: Adecco Location: New Hartford, CT Description: Manufacturing Engineering Manager Responsibilities:Design, develop, implement and improve manufacturing processes to include: Develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation for new product releases Optimize use of existing tooling and equipment Apply knowledge of machining, tooling, and assembly to the design and construction of product testing and production equipment Troubleshoot processing issues Evaluate and specify new tooling and equipment to meet production and quality requirements Day to day manufacturing support for all product lines Oversee facility maintenance support for all production processing Assure adherence to all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering field)Seven+ years of experience in a manufacturing CNC machining/ assembly environment Supervisory experience for at least 4 years.
