Essential responsibilities and duties will include but not limited: • Direct reports will be Manufacturing Engineers and Maintenance staffs • Design and implement process improvements of our manufacturing operation to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations. • Assist, advise, and otherwise expedite manufacturing solutions according to client requirements and improve our team’s capability to resolve and implement corrective action procedures. • Ensure appropriate staff and team development. • Coordinate and direct major projects, e.g., expansion of facilities, installation of capital equipment, major repairs and overhauls, plant layout changes to the best economic, production and scheduling advantages. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President of Operations. Requirements include: • Must be a citizen of the United States, or hold a green card • University degree with major in mechanical engineering is required (unless candidate has exceptional experience) • At least 10 years of aluminium heat exchanger brazing experience with a world class manufacturing company • Thorough technical understanding of aluminium brazing • Extensive operational management experience. • Understand world class quality systems, especially TS 16949. • Strong fundamental skills and experience in lean manufacturing • Formulate and execute the manufacturing process improvement scheme to improve facility capacity • Willing to share your knowledge by teaching our team members as a technical coach.
