Requirements/Responsibilities: High School Diploma is a minimum, AS degree is preferred Ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 to 10 years of Mentor Graphics PADS Layout experience designing complex high layer count, highly constrained, high power, high-speed, double-sided printed circuit boards Ability to name, create, maintain, check, and coordinate component footprint library databases Ability to create, from engineering inputs, board mechanical profiles, board fabrication stackups, detailed board fabrication drawings and packages, assembly drawings, assembly notes, gerber files, pick-and-place data, etc. Load and debug schematic driven net lists Ability to place components, perform density analysis, input constraints and route traces Basic Schematics knowledge using Mentor Graphics tools Expert knowledge of Mentor Graphics PADS Layout tool suite. Must be able to complete extremely difficult and complex design tasks independently.
