Qualified candidates will have a degree in Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in a similar sales support position is a plus. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft office suite, and database management. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required. Candidate must be able to obtain security clearance.

Provide justification of capital equipment, such as production equipment, storage and material handling equipment, test equipment, vendor tooling, etc. Develop documented assembly and test procedures and identify methods and process improvements. Keep production current on the latest technical industry advances in assembly and process innovations. Develop manufacturing tests to assure reliability of computer software and hardware. Design tooling and fixtures, as necessary to optimize assembly efficiencies. Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline required. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

EDUCATION:
Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering required

EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years of project management experience in an industrial environment required, preferably in food processing. Experience must include at least 2 years in maintenance and at least 3 years in staff/project engineering (including time as trainee and/or assistant).

SKILLS:
Able to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects on an ongoing basis. Thorough understanding of engineering economics. Leadership skills in coordinating multiple engineers, maintenance crews, improvement teams, etc.
